Do NOT Pay For This $20 million Lesson

Did ya know that Eben Pagan is currently doing a Pre-Launch for one of his IM products?

But don’t get your knickers in a twist, ‘cos I’m NOT about to promote any Guru Launch. πŸ˜›

What I’m about to tell ya, though… is that Eben earns $20 million a year from just his DoubleYourDating (DYD) site.

Hmm… and how exactly did you work out that he earns that much?

Well… that’s what he claimed in the first Pre-launch video.  Would you rather I said he earns $2 million every year?

Anyway, I learnt a MASSIVE MARKETING lesson worth every bit of that $20 2 million from navigating the DYD site, and I wonder if you’ll find the site as revealing as I did. 

So why don’t you head over there – spend 5-10 minutes or so navigating it, and come back and tell me what marketing lesson(s) you learnt.  And tomorrow, I’ll tell you what the $20 2 million marketing lesson that I learnt is.

    I’ve read the saltydroid allegations, and that’s what I was referring to in the 3rd post when I mentioned the evil syndicate.

    Warning to anyone that clicks the link in The Dude’s post: The site is quite extensive with loads of posts and even more comments, and you can easily waste an entire day lapping up all the info. Not long ago, I wasted an entire Sunday on that site, and I did not find it funny at the end of the day :( – although I just couldn’t stop myself from reading all that stuff. It was like driving past a car crash.

    Funny enough, I’ve been thinking about doing a post on the Gurus. I am actually impressed by some of them, but my biggest problem is that their products are overpriced. No way can you justify charging $1997 for what they sell. Also, the forced continuity on the DYD site… cummon!!! Especially when it says on the Sales page (I think) that you can opt out. Not impressed by that at all. :(

    Like I said I have no bone in the matter, and if anything I was prejudiced against Eben. I don’t know whether the allegations are true or not, although Salty Droid is very convincing.

    The Problem with EP is that the way he delivers his message is soo sleep inducing. Whether its those black background studio videos or live seminars, they are breakthrough solution to insomnia. Maybe he could take some acting classes to add spice and drama to his performance.

    My 2 cents: from an ANT perspective, I see that he is using a 4-5 core keywords, then has sub keywords under those keywords – like wonder wheel. My guess is that he did his keyword research and got his core words, then did some LSI digging to come up with high volume, low competition keyword/subtopics.  He created video to enhance his main message, and probably drives a lot of traffic from his videos on Youtube. He also has keyword rich videos for his other main keywords. He has the classic video squeeze page for this front page, with emotional words to get them to sign up to the newsletter and his funnel.
    Interesting that his about me is a sales page, and his program page gives the reader in essence the program funnel, so warming up his prospects.
    So I didn't look so much at site structure as content and keywords.

    His style of promotion as I see is pretty slick, reason is because first thing you see is his video, optin and side bar with dating tips articles and all the sources of information.  In each section there is a different problem that can be solved and he has different keywords and the pages all provide a optin or a trial offer below the article.  He promotes one product alone without ads, just explaining how to solve a problem for anyone interested..It is an excellent way of setting up a site.  Authority site with one product..

    He goes into one market with a huge demand, first of all and then all he does is give the market what it wants namely the confidence factor which every one needs whether its meeting woman or having confidence in business or even raising money.
    his website is very well put together and it is well marketed.what he teaches can be applied in many different areas and that's the big plus, this could be used in many different markets, his website about meeting woman is only a byproduct of his main idea which is having an inner game called confidence, as he calls it.
    I read all the comments on this page and some of them are very insightful, almost all of them have been on how he processed or made(keyword research, video etc) his site and none of them took away the main idea from his site, he is selling how to be confident(packaged in a dating site) This could about success in business or many other fields of endeavor.

I think the fact that he has a lead capture at the head of every post is a great place to put it,Obviously to do this you need a good “product” to give away and also a CTA at the very end of each post with a product sell. The products are always in front of people no matter what page or post they land on

  11. I think that if the person of the video can date any woman then the method rocks. This is why it sells so well!!! LOL

    I was joking of course but the website is clearly carefully studied. The colors, the images, all the posts titles. No doubt anyone desperate to date find it compelling.
    Maybe I’m a different kind of person, personally I don’t like it in the video and I find it very sham. I wouldn’t buy a second hand pencil from this guy.

    You have a need and he is doing a great job in getting you to see he feels your pain and he has the answer to stop the pain. The funnel type page is killer as he covers those that prefer to read, , want to watch a video and/or those that want to deal with it later. (optin).
